Al McBryan Teaches in the Spring DTS - YWAM Orlando

The DTS was challenged this week by the teachings of Al McBryan. Al is known and loved for stretching all of our minds to the limit as he dives into Gods Words with zeal and passion. He has been regularly teaching in schools at YWAM Orlando for over ten years.
Here is what the students had to say:

I learned that in order to fully understand a passage of scripture I must look not only at the passage but at the whole chapter, book, testament and then the whole bible.
-Nathaniel Lane -DTS Student

This week was filled with careful explanation of Gods word and what we can learn from it about His character. Al's direction brought revelation after revelation about the way God cares for His creation and it was amazing to see scripture come together to paint such an awesome picture. I'm ending the week with questions answered but in it's place there are so many more to chew on.

A lot of prior notions I had about God were crystallized, some were discarded and some awesome new ones were introduced.
- John Michael Steiner -DTS Student

I feel that it has been a great blessing to receive instruction from Al McBryan. He is real. He is exciting - your mind is stretched to comprehend, and in the end you see the point - and he helps you lovingly find the point. It seems he wants us to grow and know, rather than just write down what he says without thinking.
- Jim Paulson -DTS Student

I liked the teacher because one day he played the German national hymn on his laptop at the beginning of the class.
